Loktak Lake-
Loktak Lake is a famous lake of Manipur which looks like a miniature sea. In fact Loktak is the largest fresh water lake of the region. The elevated Sendra Island of Loktak Lake has a tourist bungalow from where tourists can get a great view of the lake as well as its floating mass which is known as "Phumdis".
Phubala-
Phubala is a beautiful resort situated on the western fringes of the Loktak Lake. It is 40 kms from Imphal and offers a fantastic view of the gigantic expanse of the Loktak Lake.
Loukoipat-
Loukoipat which is in Bishnupur district is a favourite tourist spot. There is a lake here which is surrounded on all sides by hillocks with abundant greenery. The lake provides boating facilities to tourists. For accommodation there is a beautiful inspection bungalow which overlooks the lake.
Singda-
It is a beautiful picnic spot with great scenery. Singda is 16 kms from Imphal which also has an inspection bungalow to accommodate visitors.
Just near Singda there is a picturesque health resort cum picnic spot called Kangchup which overlooks the Manipur Valley. The Singda Dam is being constructed here.
Khonghampat Orchidarium-
If you are an orchid lover then you must visit this 200 acre orchidarium which is about 7 kms from Imphal. It has more than 110 rare varieties of orchids including endangered ones.
